2006 Street of Dreams
July 14th, 2006
Hello there. My name’s Tom and I’d like to invite you to this year’s Street of Dreams tour.
July 15-30
The Hamptons, 238th & Q
Mon-Thurs 4-8pm
Friday-Sun Noon-8pm
Tickets are $10
I don’t know if you’ve been to the Street of Dreams before, but it’s a fantastic opportunity to go inside some of the most cutting edge homes in Omaha. Last year was the first year that Michael Homes entered the contest, and it gives me great pride to say that we won Best in Show.
This year, there are six exquisite homes to tour that range in price from roughly $500k to over $1 million. I won’t tell you which one is my favorite but I’m pretty sure that you can guess.
The Hamptons development also happens to be one of the most interesting in the area. While many developments start from scratch, the Hamptons make use of an existing creek bed surrounded by 100 year-old oak trees. I can’t think of a better backdrop for these stately homes.
So don’t miss the opportunity to see these fantastic homes up close and personal. I’ll see you there.

You’re welcome, Vickie. Let us know if you need our assistance on any future projects of your own or if you know of anyone who might appreciate our work and are looking for a quality builder.
The Hamptons home will be open Wed - Sun 1-5pm at least through August 31 and possibly into September. The homeowner has allowed us to continue to show the home. So, someone will be in the home daily. Please take advantage and take your friends. It’s free!
Enjoy!
Keep checking back. We’ll be posting projects that are in process so you’ll be able to see how we complete our homes.

My family and I are new to Omaha and we are looking to have 15,000 sq ft. home built. We see the excellent craftsmanship that goes into Michael Homes but it’s a little contemporary for our taste. We are looking to have a home built with strong french country influences. I have no doubt that Michael Builders can build the home that we want but we would like to see more work they have done. The spec home in Deer Creek is awesome. Hat off to you guys for a job well done

We currently mix traditional/french country flavor with a touch of architecturally clean (could be viewed as contemporary) look. We call it transitional.
We would love to perform on a specific french country home. It seems like everyone has a different opinion of what french country really is. So many times, I’ve seen Tuscan influences mistaken for french country.
If you have some pix or some website links that depict your understanding of french country, please share them with me. I’m always interested in what our clients are thinking.
Let me know when you might have some time to look at some of our past work. I’d be happy to take you on a tour.
I appreciate your comments about our work. We are very proud of the craftspeople who work for us.
Have a great day.
Michael
